AFRISO at the Brau Beviale 2012 in Nuremberg
Measuring and control technology for hygienic processes

Manufacturing and processing food and beverages involve highly demanding production technologies. A vast array of standards and directives cover all aspects of the hygienic design of systems, machines and measuring equipment. At the Brau Beviale 2012 (hall 5, stand 418), AFRISO will showcase a broad range of components for measurement and control tasks with national and international approvals and certificates which attest to AFRISO's high quality and safety standards. This year's focus will be on certified chemical seals for the design of hygienic processes.

Soon, the Brau Beviale will open its doors and AFRISO will again present a complete range of measuring and control technology products and solutions for hygienic processes. A comprehensive portfolio of pressure gauges, pressure transducers and chemical seals will be showcased for mechanical and electronic pressure measurement applications. In order to even better meet the requirements of the food industry, AFRISO has subjected the diaphragm seals MD 52 (DIN 11864-1, -2, -3), MD 56 (NEUMO BioControl) and MD 63 (VARINLINE/VARIVENT) to an EHEDG test (EUROPEAN HYGIENIC ENGINEERING & DESIGN GROUP) and obtained certification as per type EL class I. AFRISO measuring instruments are based on a modular kit system and can therefore be made to customer specifications with a great variety of different process connections such as Clamp, Tri-Clamp, VARIVENT, VARINLINE, NEUMO BioControl or dairy fitting.

Since AFRISO pressure measuring instruments such as pressure gauges, transducers or pressure switches are fully welded to the chemical seals, pollution of the medium should an accident occur is practically impossible. Professional equipment such as gas filled thermometers, resistance thermometers and pipe temperature sensors are available for exacting measurement requirements. New level measuring instruments and level switches as well as display and control units are provided for small-scale process plants. A comprehensive range of accessories rounds off the AFRISO offering.
