Twin combination blocks for fast connection of underfloor heating systems
The new AFRISO Twin combination blocks

Retrofitting an underfloor heating system, for example in a bathroom modernisation project, can turn out to be quite a challenge and may involve considerable unforeseeable costs. In many cases, extensive work is required to install concealed pipes and new lines to rooms far away from the heating room. And often, it is simply impossible to connect such a system to the heating circuit. AFRISO now offers a new series of combination blocks to do the job in a clever and cost-effective way.

The new AFRISO Twin combination blocks: Since front-wall installation is possible, underfloor heating systems can be easily and rapidly connected to radiators in new buildings and retrofitted to existing heating systems.
The new AFRISO Twin combination blocks are used for connection to valve radiators, compact radiators or bathroom radiators with centre connection in dual-pipe heating systems. This combination block is the ideal solution for retrofitting underfloor heating systems, for example in bathroom modernisation projects.

The combination fitting consists of a flow and return fitting; the flow fitting can be equipped with an adjustable thermostat valve for controlling the radiator and the return fitting Twin RTB with a fully adjustable (from 20C to 50C) return temperature limiter to limit the underfloor heating system temperature as well as a shut-off and drain function for the radiator. The connection fitting is available in three versions. The Twin version is used if the radiator already has a thermostat valve. Twin-T Standard features an integrated thermostat valve for temperature control of radiator and underfloor heating system. The Twin-T Vario version is equipped with a fully adjustable thermostat valve.

In addition, it is possible to control the radiator and the underfloor heating system separately. The new Twin combination blocks are suitable for temperatures of the medium of up to 110 C and nominal pressures of up to 10 bar; they are available for radiators with G3/4 eurocone or G1/2 female thread. A standard vent key is used to limit the return temperature in the underfloor heating system. Since front-wall installation is possible, underfloor heating systems can be easily and rapidly connected to radiators in existing and new buildings.
