The new, robust magnetic piston type pressure gauges MAG 63 Dif D301, MAG 80 Dif D301 and MAG 100 Dif D301 from AFRISO are designed for differential pressure measurement at very high static pressures. The differential pressure gauge features displays at both sides which ensures that it can be read from both sides, irrespective of installation situation or direction of flow.

The pressure gauges for differential pressure MAG 63/80/100 Dif D301 are designed for maximum temperatures of the fluid to be measured of up to 80 C at a maximum static pressure of up to 350 bar; the ranges cover 0/0.5 bar to 0/10 bar.

The function principle is simple:
The pressures act on two pressure chambers separated by a magnet piston. A pressure difference in these chambers causes the magnetic piston to be displaced. This displacement is transmitted to the two pointers by means of a rotary magnet. All wetted parts of the measuring system are made of stainless steel; since the pressure chamber and the displays are mechanically completely separated from each others, leaks cannot occur. The magnetic piston type pressure gauges are available with housing diameters of 63, 80 or 100 mm and two parallel radial bottom connections G1/4 female. Other connection threads as well as connections at the left or right are optionally available. In addition, the instruments are available with electrical contacts (Reed contacts), max. pointers, special scales or filters in the plus connection.

The pressure gauges for differential pressure are used for monitoring filters and pumps and in pipeline systems and cooling circuits.
