One of the best: AFRISO apprentice
High level of training at AFRISO

In 2013 a total of 2,146 young people in the City and District of Heilbronn took the final examination to conclude an apprenticeship recognised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; 104 of these young people achieved the level of distinction. Prof. Harald Unkelbach, President of the Heilbronn-Franken Chamber of Commerce and Industry, honoured the examination candidates and presented them with their certificates at an event ceremony.

Simon Kraff from AFRISO is one of the best upcoming specialists in the entire city and district. He has earned the right to be proud of this distinction, which was only achieved by 104 young people in 2013. Training Officer Ute Keppler-Aufleger and Shipping Manager Georg Odor are happy for him.
23-year-old Simon Kraff is the second examination candidate from AFRISO to be awarded with distinction, a fact which attests to the company’s high quality of training. Simon Kraff began the three-year stock logistics specialist apprenticeship programme at AFRISO in September 2010, which he successfully concluded in July 2013. “The apprenticeship at AFRISO was fun, I worked through all the departments which were important for my training. I really liked the good and informal working atmosphere. Shipping Manager Georg Odor was my training supervisor and he always had time for me and my questions.” Mr Odor adds: “There is nowhere in Stock I can’t assign Simon. Working with him is fun and I can always count on him.”

Simon Kraff is currently taking part in a one-year technical college programme in order to qualify for admittance to technical university. He will then complete a “Bachelor of Arts” (Business Administration) programme at AFRISO from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW). In his free time, Simon Kraff is an active footballer. Since he has a little time to spare in addition to his studies, he continues to work at AFRISO on an hourly basis.
