Charging unit for solid fuel boilers
Charging unit RTA 60

The new AFRISO series RTA charging units help to avoid deposits and corrosion in solid fuel boilers as well as deposits in the smoke vent which might ultimately lead to chimney fires caused by soot.
The new AFRISO RTA charging unit is designed to transport the energy generated in the boiler to the buffer and to keep the temperature in the return line above the condensation point in all operating states. This function helps to avoid deposits and corrosion in the heating boiler as well as deposits in the smoke vent which might ultimately lead to chimney fires caused by soot. The boiler manufacturer usually requires the use of a return temperature increase. Due to its compact design, the pre-assembled, tightness-tested charging unit can be mounted directly to the pipe, i.e. immediately downstream of the boiler, even if space is limited. It comprises a central carrier with a high energy efficiency pump. An integrated temperature-controlled condensation protection valve and a check valve that can be shut off are major components of the carrier. The unit comes with ball valves mounted to the three connections by means of union nuts. It is connected to the pipe system directly via the female 1" thread of the ball valve. Three thermometers are plugged through the EPP insulation directly into the carrier for function and temperature monitoring. The charging unit is available with three opening temperatures (45, 55, 60 °C); it is suitable for temperatures of the medium of up to 100 °C and for system capacities of up to 32 kW (at Δt 20 K and a flow rate of 1,200 I/h).
