The new AFRISO-EURO-INDEX DMU 14 pressure transducers were designed for electronic pressure measurement in applications requiring high accuracy of measurement and long-term stability, especially under rough operating conditions.
The new DMU 14 is available in two extremely robust housing versions: Aluminium die-cast housing version, e.g. for applications in process measurement applications and stainless steel field housing, e.g. for the food or pharmaceutical industries and all applications with exacting requirements in terms of hygiene.
An optional display can be integrated in both housing types for local indication of the measured data. DMU 14 converts the pressure of liquid or gaseous media in the ranges from 0/250 mbar to 0/600 bar into a proportional, standardised 4-20 mA output signal. The instrument features a turn down range of 1:5. The accuracy is < ± 0.1 % FSO at a long-term stability of < ± 0.15 % FSO/year.
DMU 14 is suitable for media temperatures from -40 °C to +125 °C and (with installed display) for ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +70 °C. The instrument is supplied with DC 10-30 V and features a G1/2B process connection.
The DMU 14 pressure transducer is optionally available with other process connections, in an Ex version with HART communication or a high-temperature version up to +300 °C.
