AFRISO-EURO-INDEX introduces its new Rainwater Harvesting System Centre RWSC which is suitable for use with all types of concrete or plastic rainwater collection vessels/cisterns as well as converted heating oil tanks and provides a fully automated rainwater management system.
RWSC uses primarily water from the rainwater collection vessel for the flushing of toilets, the washing machine and for the watering of the garden. If there is insufficient rainwater left in the cistern, RWSC switches automatically, via a probe controlled circuit, to the mains water supply to meet the required demand. However, a short shower of rain is sufficient for RWSC to switch back to normal rainwater use.
If there is the danger of a backflow occuring from the mains drainage system (e.g. flood water) the RWSC can be connected to an optionally available Maximelder Alarm Probe. This probe senses a backflow condition and prevents contaminated drainage water from reaching the rainwater users. RWSC is a robust and reliable control unit on which all components such as 3-way valve, pump, pressure switch, processor unit and displays are arranged very clearly and ready-to-connect on the mains water feed tank. This ensures that any maintenance or diagnostic work can be carried out easily.
Installation and commissioning of the RWSC is simple and quick. RWSC has been designed for detached or semi-detached domestic dwellings as well as for small to medium sized industrial premises.
RWSC can be used in conjunction with all commercially available water storage vessels to provide a fully automatic rainwater harvesting system.
