Ultra-Pure Gas Pressure Gauges - RF 63 RG

The AFRISO-EURO-INDEX RF 63 RG bourdon tube pressure gauge is used in the measurement of ultra-pure gases which involve extreme demands on the surface quality and the cleanliness of the parts coming into contact with the medium. Therefore, the parts coming into contact with the medium are made of stainless steel 1.4407, the measuring element (stainless steel 1.4571) is electrolytically polished, cleaned with ultrasound and then flushed with nitrogen. This leads to a surface roughness of <= Ra 0.6 µm. The RF 63 RG gauge is optionally available with a surface roughness of as low as <= Ra 0.4 / 0.25 µm.

The stainless steel 1.4301 housing features a rear pressure relief opening. RF 63 RG is suitable for ambient temperatures of -20° C to +60°C and medium temperatures of up to +150° C. The measuring ranges (EN 837-1/6) reach from -1/0 bar to -1/+15 bar and from 0/0.6 bar to 0/400 bar in the accuracy class 1.6 (EN 837-1/5.) The polished sealing surfaces enable an extremely tight connection.

Available connections comprise 1/4-18 NPT or 9/16-18 UNF, an extremely tight connection with pressure screw and union nut. The completely metallic seal allows for friction-free mounting. It can be re-used even after repeated loosening.

The RF 63 RG bourdon tube pressure gauge is optionally available with electrical contacts for switching and controlling tasks.
